NARS Creamy Concealer Dupe

The NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is one of the most coveted and well-loved concealers out there, and I had been wanting it for ages. It's one of those products that beauty bloggers, vloggers, and experts alike sing their praises to. I finally bought it and it did turn out to be a fantastic product but I'm not sure it was worth the whopping $30 it cost me.

I thought I'd share with you a dupe of this product, the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, which will cost you only $7, saving you $23 dollars in the process.

I'll show you some swatches and compare the products below.

Below are swatches of the two products. On the left, the Maybelline concealer (in Fair) is a bit more yellow toned as compared to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer (in Vanilla) on the right.

The feel of the NARS concealer is quite creamy (as the name might suggest) and blends into the skin easy. It covers blemishes nicely, canceling out the redness and airbrushing them out. It also dries nicely, without any cakiness or creasing.

I mostly use this concealer under my eyes, which is where I find it works the best. Under the eyes, it's fantastic at making the bags and blueness disappear. As a college student, I am often having sleepless or near-sleepless nights, and this product is great at making it seem like I'm awake and chipper!

Below is the NARS concealer used on my right under-eye. As you can see, the blueness under my right eye has all but disappeared as well as a few blemishes I had across my face.

The dupe product, Maybelline's Fit Me Concealer, has a very similar formula to the NARS concealer. Although creamy, it has less pigment and is a bit more watery than the NARS concealer. This means it doesn't stay on the eyes as long and doesn't fully cover every imperfection.

A few problems with this product though are the fact that it has to be reapplied a bit more than the other concealer and will crease a bit under your eyes. I find that adding a bit of setting powder will help with this problem. All that being said, this product is fantastic for covering up the blue and bags of your under-eye circles. As that's what I use the NARS concealer mostly for, this product is a great dupe, and saves me so much money in the process - so I don't mind the few problems that this concealer poses.

Below is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer used on my left eye, which does help to conceal the blue of my under-eyes, but not as effectively.

Overall, though I'd love to be able to afford buying the NARS concealer over and over again (I just ran out of my first tube), I can't and so having a fantastic dupe for this product is great. I love both and the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is perfect to save money and conceal imperfections in the process.

Do you have another dupe for the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer?
