New In: Too Faced Everything Nice Holiday Palette

Tuesday, November 18, 2014

I've got a new product to talk about today and it's one that I've been eyeing ever since it was announced as a special holiday palette. It's the Too Faced 'Everything Nice (that's what pretty girls are made of)' Palette and it's gorgeous. It's from their Christmas Collection and retails for $56, with a value of $450. I must say, the price is right

The palette comes with 20 eyeshadows, one bronzer, two blushes, and one illuminating powder as well as three mini brushes, a mini mascara, and a makeup bag.

I'm going to talk about each product included in the palette along with swatches and photos of everything. Keep reading if you want to learn more about this palette.

The four cheek products are lovely. Each one is different enough that it's a great value and the highlight is beautiful. I've been wanting the Chocolate Soleil bronzer for awhile now and because it's a bit expensive, I held off. With such a great deal as this palette, I'm happy to have the bronzer finally.

The 20 eyeshadows are beautiful. About 14 of the shades have some sort of shimmer and there are 6 completely matte shades, though some of the shimmer shades vary in their intensity.

The Mattes:

Turtle Dove {white, highlight shade, doesn't show up too much}
Dream On {light neutral nude, very very light - but nice and smooth}
Fawned Of You {light tan/brown, incredibly pigmented and smooth}
Knockout {medium brown, great for crease definition and eyebrows, smooth and pigmented}
Be You {taupe with purple undertones, very pigmented and smooth}
Heaven {light, yellow-toned, not the most pigmented}

The Shimmers:

Paper Roses {baby pink shimmer, looks great with a primer underlay}
Kindness is Free {medium pink shimmer with a frosty sheen, nice color payoff}
Mauvelous {light purple silvery shimmer, fantastic color payoff, buttery and pigmented}
Secret Lovers {dark chocolate brown shimmer, smooth and pigmented}
Don't Settle {bronzey gold shimmer, smooth and pigmented}

Totally Fetch {bright pink and fuchsia shimmer, satin and pearly finish}
Live it Up {purple shimmer shade, with flecks of glitter and bits of blue}
Too Glam {teal/green/emerald shadow with flecks of metallic and glitter bits, incredbily pigmented and gorgeous on the lid}
Head Over Heels {deep navy blue with blue glitter, really not the greatest color payoff}
Chocolate Moon {dark brown/black with glitter packed within}

The Metallics:

After Hours {warm, metallic gold, good color payoff with a bit of fall out}
Shiny Happy {green/cool toned gold metallic shade, love the color payoff}
Honey Pot {yellow gold metallic, very pigmented and creamy}

The Duochrome:
 (a shade that can look like multiple colors)

Girly {easily the most unique and gorgeous of the shadows, it's a brown/amber, green/gold duochrome, it's so buttery and pigmented and looks fantastic on the lid}

My favorite shades of the palette are definitely Mauvelous, Girly, Too Glam, and Don't Settle - and naturally, they're all the shimmery/glittery/metallic ones.

Next up are the blushes, bronzer, and highlighter.

Sweet Pink {bright pink with a slight shimmer, very pigmented so be careful with application}
Papa Don't Peach {peach with flecks of gold shimmer, very pigmented as well, goes on the skin very nicely}
Chocolate Soleil {very warm, medium toned bronzer, the Too Faced classic that smells like chocolate and goes on the skin like butter}
Inner Light {soft, pinky golden highlight shade, very subtle but gorgeous}

The palette also comes with three mini brushes and a miniature version of the Better Than Sex mascara as well as a bright pink makeup bag.

The mascara is beautiful, and I really love how it looks on the lashes. The set of (super cute) mini brushes include one perfect for contouring under your cheekbones, an eyeshadow brush, and a liner brush. The makeup bag is nothing to write home about, as one side of it has glittery bits that fall off quite often, but it's good for storing things.

Overall, I think this palette is a fantastic bargain with so many beautiful shades and a great quad of bronzers/blushes. It's a great gift and I would definitely recommend picking it up. The price tag of $56 for a $450 worth of products really can't be beat. Also, be aware that's a limited edition Christmas Collection palette and only available at Sephora, so keep that in mind!

The Christmas Collection also has a bunch of other beautiful palettes and makeup sets ranging in price and you can check them out here if you're interested.

Do you like this palette? Do you think you'll buy it or one similar to it?
